In my church Lost and Found I was given an old iPad. The priest explain to me that it was disabled locked so he did not know how to operate it. From YouTube it mentions connecting to iTunes from a computer to unlock it. What else can I do to get this iPad to work?

p.s. It is not a stolen iPad.

if the iPad is merely disabled, it may be possible to restore it:

https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204306

However, if the iPad is Activation Locked - only the owner of the AppleID previously activate the iPad can remove the lock; the Activation Lock cannot be defeated or bypassed.

Whether stolen or not, if Activation Lock iPad is active, the iPad will be of no use to you or anyone else. Nobody here will have the means to help you - and Apple will not assist in such circumstance.

If unrecoverable, please recycle the iPad responsibly - by returning it to an Apple Store when they eventually reopen.
