My Apple Card gets declined only when manually entered
I have the Apple Credit Card and I love it, however since March, I noticed two instances when the credit card declines when I am not even close to my limit. Here are the scenarios:
- My companies cafe, when they swipe the card they also have to enter the zip code. the card declines. No one who works at my company can buy lunch with their Apple Card.
- Online purchases. When making online purchases lately, when I enter the CORRECT number, and info, the card declines. i have reported this to customer service at least 3 or 4 times and they don't see a decline on their end. So there's something going on with online merchants that its showing a decline to the customer, but Goldman Sachs isn't seeing a decline. I was told by customer service to "just keep trying".
I am online tonight, trying to order something and I am getting invalid credit card number errors, but my card is showing $1 charges.
I can't get anyone to listen long enough to take this seriously. It's incredibly inconvenient.
So now, the only way I can use it is if it's swiped or if I use Apple Pay. ugh
