best resolution for Screen Mirroring

I have a 4K smart TV. Would I get a higher resolution picture using Screen Mirroring from my iPad to my 4K Apple TV connected to the TV with an HDMI cable OR connecting my iPad directly to the TV with a USB-C to HDMI cable? Or would there be any difference? Thanks.

iPad Pro m2 stage manager to external monitor I’m having difficulty connecting my new iPad Pro M2 to an external monitor to use stage manager. My external monitor is mirroring my iPad instead of being an additional work space to move windows into. I’m using an Anker 6-1 hub to connect the HDMI to HDMI cable from the monitor to the iPad Pro. Any idea why I’m only mirroring the content?

It is best to use Apple’s USB-C to HDMI adapter.
