Yes.

You can use Apple EarPods with Lightning connector - or you can standard Apple EarPods with 3.5mm plug either (a) directly connected to the 3.5mm socket of the iPad or (b) using the Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Adapter.

Not sure on this, because it had a 3.5mm headphone jack, I would presume that would be the main audio output
