FaceTime Camera Quality is Terrible

FaceTime Camera Quality is Terrible. Well, I understand that it is the high end display against the 720p camera and it probably should look not that great. Yet, it looks terrible and I receive complains from my colleagues and friends that I use Nokia 3310 not a MacBook Pro for two thousands dollars (this joke is technically wrong, but still makes sense). So, what are the chances this can be fixed on my own?

Make sure that you and your recipient have a fast Wi-Fi or cellular connection. FaceTime calls over Wi-Fi require a broadband connection.
Check for issues that might be slowing down your connection, such as someone streaming content over your network.
If you have questions about your Internet speed, contact your Internet service provider."
