New iPhone se problems

I recently pre-ordered the new iPhone SE and I discovered a problem with outgoing calls. If I have an incoming call I can hear perfect. If I call someone I cannot hear them. I can hear it ring and I can hear their voicemail but if they are talking I cannot hear them. I checked my settings and everything is fine. I’ve tried speaker as well and I cannot hear them. So far I can hear landlines when I call them. I can also hear some android users phones. I tried calling someone with a blue vivo phone and I cannot hear them?! Can anyone help me?!

Hello Newiphoneseproblems,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I understand that you are having issues with your iPhone and outgoing calls. Incoming calls are fine. If you call someone, you are able to hear it ring and voicemail announcement, but if they answer, you are not able to hear them. The same thing occurs on speaker. You are able to hear some Android users. This is certainly an interesting issue. I have a few questions for you, in order to further understand the issue.

  1. Is this happening on all outgoing calls?
  2. What happens if you disconnect from a problem call and they call back right away?
  3. Have you tested to see if it is related to your location? Does it change when you or the other person change location?
  4. Any other information you have noticed about the issue.

Best regards.
