The specialists who answer here do not have a direct contact with the security specialists which is whey they posted a link regarding compromised accounts. They aren't refusing to do anything. Either click on the link they provided or call AppleCare and ask to be transferred to the Account Security Team.

I also had this up on my iPhone and been a victim of fraud, CHECK BANK statements !!!

Since Apple refuses to address the situation if it’s a valid credit card go buy something and see if it goes through and then maybe if it goes through and it’s something that belongs to Apple then maybe they’ll remove it from your options in your wallet

Please answer the question! Why is the name John Appleseed and a credit card number listed in our iPhones? Was this an error? Or has the Apple platform been compromised?? We demand answers! If not, We will go to the media or maybe even to the competition for answers.

It’s not about a compromise account, if all of the iPhone users who choose to update credit card information in the wallet on their iPhone are having the same problem, then if all Apple has to say is if you think your account is compromised click this link, there is definitely a problem

The same thing has just happened to me. Fraud was committed on my bank account a few days ago. They tried to get $3400 out of my account. Is this some kind of card reader bug that saves my card info when I make payments? I have since deleted it and changed all passwords.

I have just deleted the same too...recently started coming up as an option to pay online. John Appleseed saves card, China union .. was concerned too.

I had the same today on my phone. Can someone confirm why this information appeared?

The card number saved was a visa number starting with 627598019XXXXXXXXXX
