Video and audio interface with iPad

I have to supply a 3 minute presentation to an editor. Instead of using the internal camera and microphone on the iPad, how do I replace them with higher quality external sources. For audio, a USB interface having a mic pre would allow me to use a fine mic. I would like to also replace the internal camera with an improved video camera, so the same question applies. How do I interface a video camera, and the audio feed to an iPad. Recommended software would also be greatly appreciated. I am recording an oboist relating her experience in words and music the impact on her by this virus situation. It's for the Lyric Opera of Chicago, so naturally we want to put our best foot forward.
