Confusion on Apple ID

So recently I changed the password on one of my accounts and I wanted to update my password on my Apple ID in my settings. But when i go to Settings>Apple ID (my name)>Password & Security, it shows a prompt saying "Account Details Unavailable: If you are signing in to iCloud on another device or at iCloud.com, you can get a verification code while offline." It then shows 2 options saying "Get Verification Code" and "Ok." How am I meant to access my passwords and security?

Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.

Try a restart.

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Try a forced restart.

Reset Device.

If necessary

Hard reset.

Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.

Restore to Factory setting.

Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup.
