MacBook Air internal camera is not visible in OS X at all

Hi all!

I have MacBook Air (early 2015) running Mac OS X 10.14.6 Mojave. A few days ago I started to convert analog video (VHS cassette) to digital format and was very surprised that my MacBook Air internal camera is not recognized in QuickTime. There is no list with the title 'Camera' at all:

I went to  -> About this Mac -> System Report -> Hardware -> Camera and saw this:

Next I tried to make camera visible. That is my action list:

1. NVRAM or PRAM – https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204063

2. SMC – https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295

3. Safe mode – https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

4. Diagnostic mode – https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202731

5. Login to a different account

6. Mac OS X reinstallation…

As a result – NOTHING.

The question is:

Did anyone have a problem like this and have any suggestions?

Thanks.

Thank you, Joseph_S!

I don't have Apple warranty for this device and so Upper Case replacement will be 10 times expensive then external camera… ;-)
