On my Apple TV (not the Apple TV app but the actual Apple TV on my TV) I bought a series & after each episode I have to go back to the series menu & click the next episode, which is annoying. How can I turn on continuous play on my actual Apple TV (not the app)?

No, as autoplay is not an option of TV on the Apple TV.

This is due to the provider of the content, you can look in that providers preferences or contact them to see if they offer that feature. Which provider is it, i.e. Netflix, CBS, etc.....?
I know that can be annoying, my wife complains to me all the time about the same issue.
