MacBook Air Bluetooth completely missing

Hi there,

Yesterday I tried to use my wireless headphones with my laptop, however they wouldn't connect. My Bluetooth icon said "Not Available" and the turn bluetooth on button was greyed out. I have since tried the forums suggestions of deleting the /Library/Preference/ and ~/Library/Preference/ByHost files and restarting, no dice, SMRC, no dice, I also tried the shift+alt+control+power option, no dice, I tried upgrading to Catalina, no dice, so I resorted to factory reset, now the Bluetooth is completely gone... not is system preferences, network, or menu bar, though files are still present in the Library/Preference.

Help?? Suggestions?? Bluetooth Firmware I can reinstall??

TIA.

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.15

Hi,

Try to boot in Safe mode, then normal boot could solve the problem.

If it doesn't help, try to run Apple Diagnostics if it's hardware related issue.
