Locked out

Bought a second hand MacBook Pro 2017, when I picked it up it seemed to be working fine, but the old user had forgotten his administrator password so I did a complete reinstall. Not the only user available is “other” and it is password protected. I am locked out of my new to me computer. Any ideas?

Otherwise the best advice might be to completely erase your drive:
