All Logic X files turned into folder and are inaccessible

Hi!

Ive been using Logic X with no problems today but suddenly it's turned all of my project files into folders with "alternatives" and "resources" as the drop down. When I try to open the recent projects via the Logic menu, it crashes with no explanation after it has gone through what seems to be the normal loading screens.

I saw on another thread that adding ".logicx" onto the end of the file name will fix this. I tried, as you can see below, but no luck.

I just had a collaborator send me a project via Google drive and this is where I first encountered the issue, I want able to open the project. Somehow, it's converted ALL of my projects to this folder.

All help is greatly appreciated as this is quite frustrating!

Thank you

Do you in fact have Logic installed on this Mac? This happens when the application that uses those specialized folders is not on the machine to recognize them, and tell the system what they really are.

If a legitimate copy of Logic Pro X is installed on this Mac, reboot into Recovery mode, run the First Aid function in Disk Utility.
