EASY question for you guys

Hey all,

I have garage band version 5.8 and I am having trouble locating the effects gate. When I have "Real Instrument" selected and look in the track info box the effects gate arrow should show up on the bottom right...but it doesn't. I could find it in the old version but in this one it's not there!! Where did it go?
