Multi-Cam, Multi-clip sync

Good Morning Ya'll.

I'm working on a huge conference video using 2 cameras and audio clips from a Tascam. Each camera recorded about 30 Clips each ( no timecode). I am guessing when they recorded the session, they would start and stop throughout the day. The tascam was left recording so I only have 4 clips from that which I can combine into one clip.

So, in editing I am trying to use multi-cam sync and it isn't syncing correctly between camA, camB, and the tascam audio. I've tried to sync using audio but I end up with huge gray spots once running the sync.

I really don't wanna have to go and manually sync everything.

Anyone have advice on how to get this working

There are several options regarding sync when you create a multicam clip.

If the cameras recorded audio then you can try that. You can also add a marker roughly at a place the clips would sync (it does not have to be perfect) and choose “on first marker” (or similar-not at my mac to check the details right now).
