White box that is immovable

Every time I shut my Macbook pro and open it back after a few minutes, a white box with no words on it appears on my screen, I can't move it. The only way I can get rid of it is if I restart my laptop. Sometimes have to restart it multiple times. This has been happening for a few months but I have just been dealing with it, but it's really starting to get annoying.

I can paste text though with right click -> paste. I can select the text and erase it. Even I found it annoying, I have not tried to remove it until yesterday when it appeared on my iMac (3.2 GHz Intel Core i% - Mojave 10.14.6 (18G103)) as well! As my 4 years old son is sometimes playing with my computers, I suspect an unusual keys combination. Any help would be welcome and much appreciated!

Green vertical box in my macbook pro screen Hey. While working on my laptop there suddenly this vertical thick box appeared which is only showing on white screen/background and not onto the black screen/background. The green box lightened after i updated my system. Please help.

MacBook Air M2 Screen, Thin Grey Horizontal Lines Hi Community, My entire screen has started showing up with these thin grey horizontal lines. It is prominent on white pages. Any ideas why and what I can do about it?

Please determine if the same problems occur in "Safe Mode": Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac.
