MacBook Air M2 Screen, Thin Grey Horizontal Lines
Hi Community,
My entire screen has started showing up with these thin grey horizontal lines. It is prominent on white pages. Any ideas why and what I can do about it?

Hi Trish313,
I notice it all the time (no matter what page is open).
I have tried restarting it but it is still visible :(

I'm experiencing the same issue with my MacBook Air M2 since last week. Went to the shop and have to bring it in for check-up.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! I really appreciate it! I have been travelling so haven't gotten a chance to sort it out but knowing what gets done about the issue makes me feel a lot less worried!
Hi jch1u,
Do you notice this on any website you visit or on this specific page? Do you see it in any other app? Confirming this information will help with isolating the issue a but further.
You can also try restarting your Mac. Restarting can help resolve many unexpected issues we may face with our device. To restart your Mac go to the Apple menu ( ) > Restart.

Hope that helps!
Brought it in for repair. They installed a new display and it's fixed now. Asked them if they knew the problem, but they say it's just bad luck. They've never seen it before on these Macbook's..
I am so sorry to hear that you are experiencing it as well. Please tell me how it goes!
Hello jch1u,
