Update Apple ID Settings Infinite Loop Bug
I am having the "Update Apple ID Settings" infinite loop bug.
I setup my daughter's phone, and everything works fine, except there is a notification to "Update ID Settings".
The flow:
- Go to Settings
- Select Update Apple ID Settings
- Continue
- Enter password
- I see this: "Updating Apple ID Settings" for about a minute
- It then loops back to #3
Forever.
Here is what I have tried:
- Restarted
- Signed out, signed back in
- Made sure software was updated
- Made sure Time / Day was correct
- Attached phone to computer and logged (successfully) into iTunes.
- Entered wrong password - it comes back and says its the wrong password, so something is authenticating somewhere. Also suggests the current password I am using IS correct.
- Stroked a goat's head in a counterclockwise direction
The only thing I haven't done is a Hard Reset on the phone. Is there anything else I can do before wiping it and starting over?
