Your 3D accelerator card is not supported by World of Warcraft.
How can I turned off full screen optimization for this game on a mac, all tutorials are on PC. I am sure the 2d works just fine. Please advise.

if you go to "About this Mac" under the big Apple Icon at the top left of your imac's screen it will tell you what kind of graphics card you have. Blizzard says you need at least a metal capable gpu with 1 gig of vram or better, preferably 4 gig vram. This is for world of warcraft Classic version. here's a list of the mac video cards it does support:
