Hello,

My understanding is that in order to authorize your computer you must have an email. When I try to authorize my computer with my email it tells me it cannot do it. So I went to check a file that I was trying to authorize it say the ID is just plain old "rwquiem". I check my other files and the id is my full email address ****@ aol.com. Can someone please help me with this.

I've had a think about this and realised that in the screenshot that you originally posted (since removed), it showed a song that required authorisation, rather than your computer. There is an ongoing issue whereby some songs repeatedly request authorisation and the advice at the the moment is to delete the song and re-download it.

Perhaps it's the email address that causing the issue for everyone, I don't think much investigation has gone into it.

Before deleting the song, check to make sure it's still available in the iTunes Store (because they aren't always). If you have any issues with re-downloading the song, or if the situation continues, ask the store for assistance. There is a link at the bottom of the iTunes Store page named "Email iTunes Support".
