iPad makes everything else very quiet during video calls

How can I change settings somewhere to make my iPad play things in the background with the same volume as the video call volume?

Example: I am in an online lecture and have to play a YouTube video suggested by a lecturer without disconnecting from a zoom video call, but when I play it in the browser I can barely hear anything from the video even when I put the volume high up because it makes only the video call lauder not the YouTube video.

Please help, it is very annoying as I have to do things like this a lot and cannot find anything for that in settings and it does that for any apps like no matter what I use for the video call whether it is messenger, zoom, discord, anything, always the same outcome when I try to watch or hear something else the same time
