Which Macbook for Quarantine

I can't really say, I do see posts about issues with Zoom and MacBook Air but I can't tell if it's a problem with Zoom software or something on the hardware side. So the best thing you could do is go with the MBP, although just because I'm not seeing any posts doesn't mean there aren't issues.

If it's the 13" MacBook you're looking at be sure to get at least 250 GB - 512GB storage and 16 GB RAM. That will future-proof it nicely as applications and systems keep requiring more and more resources.

OK but all you've told us is that you will be using it for Zoom calls. What other applications will you want to be running now and in the future. Will you be using it for Desktop Publishing, Movies or Music? This all determines how much processor speed, memory and storage you'll need.

That's not "natural". If you want to troubleshoot the issue you can run Etrecheck. It is a diagnostic tool that's very useful to us in finding problems. Also it will give us further specs on your Mac. After it runs post the log file here. It will contain no personal information.
