Hi, I bought this monitor and am connecting it with a usbc to hdmi cable.
(I have also tried a vga cable with a hub and a standard hdmi with a hub)
All result in a 1 inch black edge around at the sides and 1/2 inch top and bottom.
I have set the monitor to overscan on, which results in slight improvement (the picture I added)
Anyone know how to resolve this?

If you set [√] Mirror displays, both displays use a computed "compromise" resolution that they both appear capable of displaying. If you turn off mirror display, you should be able to set your external display to 1920 by 1080 and get better results.
