Factory settings

Hey everyone, in need of a little help, my little girl had locked her ipod, so I put it back to factory settings, just thought be easier to do, now am able to sign in on my phone with the icloud to which is on the ipod, but it's some how not letting me sign into the icloud for the ipod onto the ipod? Can anyone help me out?

Hello,


The iPod touch is locked with Activation Lock. There is no way around unlocking Activation Lock without inserting the device’s associated Apple ID. If this is not an option you will have to find the original receipt for the device that clearly shows the serial number. Once you have this document you can have Apple unlock your iPod touch.
