error message when installing chrome on MacBook Pro, iOS Catalina 10.15.3

I need to add Chrome to my MacBook Pro (iOS Catalina 10.15.3) for work, and downloaded it directly from google. However when I go to install it in my applications folder an error message pops up:

"Are you sure you want to remove "google chrome.dmg" from iCloudDrive?

This item will be moved to this Mac and will no longer be available in iCloud Drive on any of your devices."

Chrome was never installed on this laptop.

What am I doing wrong?
