Auto scroll feature on the iPhone 11

How do I disable the feature that automatically scrolls to the top of the page when the right side of the screen is touched. There is haptic feedback an it flies up to the top of the page. Thanks for any advice

Greetings, Dhenschke.

I see that, when you're scrolling through an app or website, sometimes you're taken to the top and you receive a haptic feedback. I'm glad to help with this.

Learn basic gestures to interact with iPhone -- This usually happens when you reach the bottom of a screen and the scroll bar is touched.. To keep this from happening, you'll need to be careful not to touch the scroll bar.

Take care.

I have this same problem with the haptic touch and scrolling when I am in the middle of reading something on my iPhone 11. . It happens erratically, sometimes two or three times a day and then skips several days or a week before it happens again. I get the haptic "thump" and then the "mad scrolling" begins, lasts just a second or two, and then reverts e back to the beginning of the article I was reading. It is maddening, and makes me hate Haptics. I am not touching the scroll bar, as I tend to use my scrolling finger toward the center of the screen.

I have posted this on numerous forums, and have gone to several ATT stores that sell Apple products in my town, and so far, no help or solution. I have seen this same problem in dozens of posts. You'd THINK Apple would take notice ????

Any solutions would be much appreciated !!
