Can’t set live wallpaper on iPhone SE

iPhones 6s, Se, 7, 8, all x models and all 11’s support live wallpaper. iPhone se 2nd gen is the only iPhone since the 6s came out that doesn’t support it

I switched from an iPhone 8 plus to iPhone SE 2020. I had live wallpaper in 8 Plus which got transferred by quick start. Whenever i tap and hold the screen, live wallpaper runs. It is for sure supported by iPhone SE but is not available in wallpaper settings.

Then they all have non-iPhone SE models. If you must be like them, then you need their model iPhone.

Same, I can’t do it either but I looked it up and it says it needs 3D Touch which the iPhone SE 2020 does not support.

Nope. The original iPhone SE does not support it either.

iPhone se 2nd gen is the only iPhone since the 6s came out that doesn’t support it.

And note both iPhone SE models are/were the least expensive of the bunch.

Bro, that does not answer his question. I too have the iPhone SE (2020, duh). No Live Photo support for lock screen at all. None.

My gf has a 6+ and it supports Live Photos as the lock screen and I’m positive her phone does NOT have Face ID. If you don’t know the answer to the question, just say so instead of giving vague (and incorrect) answers.

You can take live photos with the Iphone se, you just cant use them as live wallpapers.

In that case, the last paragraph of this Apple Support article would be incorrect then?

That would mean either the iPhone SE 2nd Gen is actually supposed to have Live Wallpaper, or this article is not updated, or incorrect. I feel like it's the former; this article says "1st generation", implying that it was updated to reflect the fact that there is now a 2nd generation. If somebody went and added "1st generation" to this article upon the release of the 2nd gen, wouldn't they have mentioned that the new phone did not support Live Wallpaper?

Hey so like my old phone was an 6 so I couldn’t get live wallpaper or anything bc it wouldn’t go past IOS 12.4, and so I got so excited to finally have live wallpaper on the SE but to only to find out it doesn’t have live wallpaper •_•

The iphone se gen1 was capable of doing it idk why the gen2 can’t seems half assed if you ask me
