Can’t set live wallpaper on iPhone SE

Apple never discloses its iPhones' battery capacities, so when it announced the iPhone SE, all it said was that it was the same as the iPhone 8. It also listed identical wireless video and audio playback hours (13 hours and 40 hours, respectively) for both phones. However, when we ran our battery tests for video playback on Airplane mode, the iPhone SE lasted longer than the iPhone 8 by nearly two hours. (To be more specific, the iPhone SE lasted about 15.5 hours, while the iPhone 8 lasted 13.5 hours.)

If anything, the iPhone SE 2020 and iPhone 8 should at least equal in battery life.

Can you please update the iPhone SE 2020 so that we can set live wallpapers. I’ve been trying to set one for ages only to find out that im not able to. The other phones since the iPhone 6 have it so why not the latest iPhone!?!?!?

Please, i want a Live Wallpaper on my iPhone SE 2020😭. I spend a lot of money for this phone. I was so excised for Live Wallpapers and they are not here. Please fix it on iOS 14 🥺❤️. Love you Apple. 

Dude I agree with everyone saying Apple needs to update their wallpaper settings because I was finally able to set a live on my 6s and now I have a new phone (2020) and I was so disappointed when I found out the lives didn’t work since I already had one set.

That answer is not helpful, as you have answered the question with the problem. How about apple updates the iPhone se, because it has both the hardware and software capable of doing it. WE all know apple kept this feature out so it would seem less premium of a phone than it is. I also see that with iOS 14, the press and hold of notifications finally came to the phone, but still no live wallpapers. Yet. We would be happy to have it included in our iPhones. Thank you

Economic and design decisions are rightly made by the company producing the product. You are shown the features and price, and offered the option to purchase or not.

While looking at wallpaper options discovered this forum, is there a hardware limitation on the iPhone SE 2020 that means it’s unable to support live wallpapers? I’m asking as the SE hardware is mostly copied from the iPhone 8 which supports live wallpapers.

I just updated to iOS 14.1, the Live Wallpapers are not there yet (even if I don't care) but more than anything else the iPhone looks like ****.

Let me explain to you sometimes it crashes or it goes off in moments when it did not do it before it is bad I'm not kidding it literally sucks, don't do it if you have time.

Further to my question above (new Apple ID so different username), I haven’t received a response, so the answer I was provided previously I don’t think is valid. I think the reason is actually because both SE generations and the XR are not flagship models unlike the other phones so Apple is “punishing” people who don’t buy a flagship. I think it’s very petty and it’s hacked off a lot of people!

This was my own reasoning and in my opinion it is the only logical explanation 😑, also because it supported it before.

Either Apple decides to put live wallpapers or some application will do it in its place or someone will JB 🙃, you decide Apple.

I really don't thin they are no logical explanation, if even the iPhone 6/6s had Live Wallpaper it really doesn't make sense that the SE 2020 don't have the option to have live wallpaper.

My former comment is deleted because I said truth about those illogical stuff that Apple is doing right now.

It's not about being logical, it's about being hungry for more money, even if you must do really not smart choices and illogical stuff

So first of all I noticed that even the iPhone 12 do not have the 3D touch but rather the Haptic Enigne this means that they cannot use the live wallpapers, but they have them ..... wait what?

I mean you want to tell me that they can only because they cost more? then if it were a talk of drums, but what do I care if it lasts me 1 hour less, then the battery is the same as an iPhone 8 which still has the possibility of live wallpapers.

So this thread has to go up to the top and get to the developers let's hear it, iPhone SE 2nd sold a lot between 12 and 14 million copies in the second quarter alone you did a great action but don't fall as you did like with the battery issue years ago 🤬.

Why iPhone SE 2nd which has all the features like an iphone 11 which supports live wallpapers and doesn't have them?

Why does the iPhone 12 also have Haptic Engine and it supports live wallpapers?
