Few days late, I order a USB -C charging cable from apple, i opened it, tried to charge the laptop, it didn't charge. First thought it's defective. so I opened the laptop box and picked the cable that originally came with the laptop. It charged briefly while wiggling it, tried it with my iPad Pro 11 (2018), had intermittent charging, then stopped charging!!! luckily i had extra USB-C to USB-C cable and still every thing works normal using them (i.e. amazon cable).
