I wanted to know if I get a replacement device, that they would attempt the data transfer from the old iPhone described in the terms and conditions for the repair. Has anyone gotten a replacement for a repair and had their data transferred onto the replacement phone by Apple? Thank you ☺️

No, they will not transfer the data nor attempt to if they have to replace the iPhone. That is why it tells you to do a backup of your iPhone before sending it in so you can restore the replacement unit from your backup.

No they do not. In fact if you were taking it to a store they will refuse to accept it if you haven’t backed it up.
If your iPhone is no longer working then the wireless transfer of data will not be possible.
I don’t believe it’s been backed up at all and at this point seems impossible to.. Do you think attempting to get a new phone would allow the device to do the wireless transfer of data when they’re next to each other?
Doesn’t it say in the terms and conditions that they will attempt data transfer on a device that can still hold data?
