2013 Macbook Pro 16GB ram or New Macbook air 8GB ram for same productivity works?

Hi, I currently own a 6-year-old macbook pro retina (Late 2013). I'm thinking to upgrade to a newer macbook. It seems old and a little heavy for me to carry around.

I need it to be lighter, last longer, and have same/better power.

I don't need a lot computing power or crazy specs.

I do basic productivity, video streaming, and occasionally, use adobe photoshop/Illustrator and final cut pro.

Based on my budget, it would be great if the base model Macbook Air 2020 with 8GB of 3733MHz LPDDR4X Ram, 1.1GHz dual-core Intel Core i3-1000NG4 can be the replacement for my old pro with 16GB 1600MHz DDR3 Ram, 2.6GHz Dual-Core i5-4288U.

The base model Macbook Air 2020 is newer, lighter, and last longer.

The only question is the performance. The specs looks lower, but they are also from newer generation.

Shall I upgrade?

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15
