When would I want to sync my System Preferences to iCloud?

I am wondering when the System Preferences checkbox in iCloud on Mac should be checked

I have a Mac Pro and an iPhone. I do not believe I need to sync my MP's System Preferences to iCloud but, I could be wrong

What is that feature for?

It’s meant for users that have multiple Macs and want them synced, so they don’t need to enter general, network and other settings separately on each Mac.
