Can the newest Mac mini drive a 3440x1440 monitor?

On the Mac mini page I only see a link to a question about multiple monitors (I don't see any page answering "What monitor will the Mac mini support?"), so though I only plan to use one monitor, I'm using this as an Apple spec source because it's all I could find on the Apple website:

I'm assuming that "one display with 4096-by-2160 resolution at 60Hz connected via HDMI 2.0" actually means "up to 4096-by-2160," but that's not what it says. It says "with 4096-by-2160."

Surely that is just badly written copy, and it doesn't support only exactly one resolution of monitor—that would be ridiculous… but read literally, that's what it says.

Before I purchase, I'm seeking clarification.

PS. Is there not a page with more explicit and detailed monitor specs than what I linked to above? Is there a page on Mac OS System Preferences monitor driver resolutions and Hz supported on the Apple website somewhere?
