better to play music on imac vs ipod touch

• You can't put an iMac in your pocket while you're out (once the lockdown ends of course) and the size of the requisite power brick might be an issue.
• The small size of the keyboard on the iPod may be an issue, but at least the power brick could be more manageable

Your choice

There would most likely be more wear and tear if you were lugging around a giant iMac everywhere you went just to listen to music. One device fits in a pocket whereas the other device requires a duffle bag.

Just make a decision and pick which ever one you want. It does not really matter as both will produce the same sound quality and since you will be sitting stationary there will not be any wear and tear on either device. It’s not like a turntable’s needle that will subtly wear out after each use. They are digital devices that will just work.
