Brand new iPad Pro battery

We bought my mom a new iPad for her birthday (2weeks ago) and the battery life is HORRIBLE. Even when the iPad is off over night in the morning when she turns it back on it drained almost the whole battery. Anyone know how to fix this? Did we just get a bad one? Should I return it?

If you go to Settings->Battery, what does it say is using the battery the most?


Is something being left on on the iPad, like music or Youtube that may be using the battery?


Why is the iPad not plugged in to the charger during the night?

It is too late to return this iPad under Apple’s 14-day return policy.

Also, suggest/recommend contacting/reaching out to Apple Product support and services about your iPad battery issues.
