Hi PalmHopper,

Thank you for posting. I'd want to make sure my Mac was working as expected also. It sounds like your cursor is not responding. Is that right?

Has the issue been resolved since posting here, or is your cursor still stuck?

If it's still stuck, what exactly is happening? Does it look like an app might be unresponsive, or does your Mac appear to be running normally otherwise? You might try pressing Command-Option-Esc together to bring up the Force Quit window. It might help to close any unresponsive apps there: How to force an app to quit on your Mac

If your entire Mac is unresponsive and you're not able to access the Force Quit window, try pressing and holding Power until your Mac shuts down: How to turn your Mac on or off

"If your Mac doesn't shut down, try Force Quit to close any apps that aren't responding. If that doesn't work, press and hold the power button until the Mac turns off.

Press and hold the power button to turn off your Mac only if it isn't responding. You'll lose unsaved changes to any documents that you have open."

Take care.
