Magic keyboard

Hey community, I just purchased my new IPad Pro 12. 12.9. I’m looking at the magic Keyboard as add on but I cant see if it will safely store the Apple Pen. Anybody knows?

The Apple Pencil is stored on the Ipad itself, there are magnets on one of the sides which keeps the pencil in place and charging it.

There is no extra storage on the magic keyboard for the pencil

The 2nd gen Apple Pencil magnetises to top of the iPad iPad for charging and storing.
