Hi Barry.
So i have a table with information and different sections on it.
i would like to split the table by section so that i can change the columns of the one section without effecting the columns in the other section.
Use the Row Reference tabs to elect the rows you want to separate from the rest of the table.
Then click and hold on one of the selected tabs until the seection 'rises' from the rest of the table.
Keep the mouse button down and drag the selection away from the rest of the table. When there is a space equivalent to three rows or so between the moved rows and the rest of the table, release the mouse button to drop the new table onto the Sheet,
Rename the new table if needed.
Create a new 'test' table to do some practice on before attempting this on your 'real' table,
Also consider duplicating the file before starting. Makes it easier to get back to the starting point if things go wrong.
Regards,
Barry
Possibly.
Can you provide a more explicit description of what you want to do.
Start with what you have now.
End with what you hope to have when the change is completed.
Screen shots to illustrate it would also be useful.
Regards,
Barry
Thanks a mil
