This use to work fine . . . but for some reason it quit! I've checked "Notifications" in Settings and it looks to me like "Messages" is set up correctly. I'm on iOS 13.4.1

Finally figured out that if I have Notifications turned on on my Apple Watch the iPhone will not sound alert when the phone is locked . . . only the watch will notify via vibration. I turned the Apple Watch notification off on my Apple Watch and now all is good . . . just can't have BOTH turned on!

This is very frustrating. What's the point of having the watch "mirror my phone" if it's not going to? I liked having the option of leaving my phone in one room and still have the watch alert me to texts.
Sorry but this isn't helping . . . but I sure appreciate the effort!! When I go to my Notification Center I have no "Messages".
Can I check if from "Settings, Notifications, Messages . . ." There it appears to me to be set up correctly.
what good does my watch do if I can’t hear my messages come in on my phone. I want them both to sound. I thought they did until the upgrade.
I do not have "manage notifications" on my iPhone 11 with current SW.
What do I try next?
