My Contacts on a High Sierra Desktop has iCloud contacts and On My Mac contacts. I have cut/pasted the On My Macs contacts to the iCloud and removed the duplicates. I would like to remove the On My Mac group so that all contacts are placed in the cloud. The Delete button does not remove it. How can I only have iCloud contacts in Contacts?

AHA, yes it is, just checked that & opened Contacts & there it was, unchecked it & Contacts disappeared or closed, but opening it again My Mac Groups was gone.

Ah, thanks, I think I see the problem, it appears that All On My Mac is just a built in header, & it just shows there are none.
I can add new groups and delete them. I am not able to remove "All on My Mac." I don't have that group on my laptops running Mojave.
If you highlight the Group & tap the Delete key does that work?
The Delete button does not remove it.

Can the preference be changed anywhere to remove it. It does not show on my laptop with Mojave.
