why or how can I utilize an external keyboard on my ipad pro?

So since the latest update I have had issues with connecting my slim folio keyboard case and I am unable to use an external keyboard plugged in via a docking station and input port. When I first try to utilize either they work intermittently and then stop all together because the on screen keyboard pops up again. I hate typing via the screen and find an extreme loss of productivity with this update not being useful. Any advice on how this can be remedied?

Hello,

Try resetting iPad's network settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Be certain you do not select Erase All Content and Settings as this will erase all of your information. It is a good idea to perform a backup of your iPad prior to resetting its settings.
