Restore erased MacBook pro

My 2015 MacBook Pro was stolen 12 months ago. I erased remotely using Find My iPhone. 12 months later the police have found it (this is now). It displayed message: “ Your computer isn’t disabled. Try again in 60 minutes.”

I switched it off. On switching it again I immediately pressed and held Shift-Option-Command-R until a locked padlock came up with a request for passcode.

I put in the passcode. Spinning globe popped up with message about internet recovery. It spins and loads for about 45 minutes. Then Apple logo comes up with a much faster promising loading.

But alas! It goes back to the original screen telling me: my computer is disabled. Try again in 60 minutes.

Whats the problem and how can I fix this?

On Find My iPhone: it only shows the date and time the MacBook was erased. And it doesn’t pick it up even though the MacBook is currently connected to wifi. All options relating to MacBook other than “Play Sound” and “remove device” are greyed out.

Sorted. It turns out all I needed was patience. When the 60 minute timeout ended. I was asked to enter my passcode again. The Apple logo came up again. And I got the magical Utilities Options. It’s now reinstalling macOS Mohave
