recover data from CD

I have an old CD, from 2012, I think, that will not mount when I put it in the DVD drive. I want to see what's on the disc, as it contains important data.


Any clues?

It is possible the quality of CD has degraded over time, and may not be recoverable.


You can try a commercial head cleaner


You can try a different DVD CD reader
