Screen Off Centered?

Recently I have noticed that my screen on my iPhone XS Max is off centered. The black strip that comes down where the camera is off centered to the left, and now the clock cannot be seen when my phone is unlocked.

Hey g_e_n_0,

If I understand this correctly, your iPhone screen seems off centered and you see a black strip that comes down where the camera is off centered to the left. You also can't see the clock when your iPhone is unlocked. Is that all correct? If yes, then I believe that I can help you!

Did you recently make any changes to your Display settings under Settings > Display & Brightness? For example, did you increase the 'Text Size' or enabled 'Bold Text'? How about your 'Display Zoom'? Is the view under 'Standard' or 'Zoomed'?

Check out this article for more information: Change the font size on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Also, here's an online guide for additional steps. You'll need to select the appropriate iOS version on the top of the page : Adjust the display and text size on iPhone

Feel free to change the settings around to see if it makes any difference. You can even toggle the options by changing the settings and reverting it back to how it was before.

Restart your device if the issue persists and see if it helps: Restart your iPhone

If none of these steps help, you'll need to contact the Apple Support team next: Contact Apple for support and service

Cheers!
