Everything works as it should except I have to disconnect usb enxternalmic to hear what has been recorded what am I not doing right please its such pain to unplug to hear what I have recorded/

Thank you for reaching out at Apple Support Communities today. If I understand correctly, you're having trouble hearing your recordings in GarageBand unless you unplug your mic.
