Restoring iPad Pro

Misplaced my password for my iPad, tried to follow instructions to restore and I get the following message : 'The i pad could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (10).

I have updated my Mac software.

Can someone advise what to do?

Restoring my iPad I have been trying to restore an iPad I have that I got locked out of a year ago due to forgetting the password. Every time I attempt to restore it with iTunes it gets to the step that it says preparing iPad for Restore then a popup appears saying "Unknown error occurred". I have fully updated my MacBook Air, restarted it, and changed cables that is connecting the iPad. How can I restore this iPad???
