in a beautiful morning you start to work and suddenly the software update tells you that there is an update, you don't want to see that red ball in your settings and then decide to make the update thinking, the system will get better and faster, but no, you spends all day waiting to update and so far it is still on that screen with the apple logo and a full progress bar. more than 8 hours for an update? then you regret it and think why did I update? even knowing that apple takes processes for updates on older equipment because it makes it slower than it should be, because they want to force them to buy new ones. What a ****** policy hem Apple!

Still haven't installed 10.5.5. The progress bar on the Apple screen, upon the "software update restart," doesn't move after hours of waiting. Longest wait was 4 hours. I have now started and stopped my iMac (2013) by shutting down my computer manually at least 3 times mid-update now.

Decided to forgo the update at this time.

So frustrating.

Sorry can not address beta issue here—

They also state that issues with Betas cannot be posted in a public forum such as this one.

There are no forums for the public beta testers. The developer forums

are really not the right place since they are for developers

Apple makes it very clear Betas are offered as is, and there is no support for them outside of the Feedback Assistant App.
