Icloud nosync alternatives

Hi there,

so i know 2 ways to stop a folder / files from being uploaded to icloud.

1. .nosync
2. .tmp

the issue with those solutions is that other places that req those folders will not be able to fin them.

for example for devs, the node_modules..

so i dont need my projects node_modules to be uploaded to the icloud, but i do need the other files..

what can we do about it?

the best thing i can think of is to somehow allow the users to create for themselves the list of "not to upload"

and then the defaults will be .nosync + .tmp but will have also option to add..
