File Copy Progress Wheel Appearing Next to Files on External Hard Drive

Hello, I am using a MacBook Pro (2019) running MacOS Catalina 10.15.4 and I just bought a Samsung T5 Portable SSD 1TB Hard Drive. I copied around 80 gbs of files over to the hard drive and those files reflect in the Used Storage when looking at the hard drive (as shown in the screenshot).

However, in the finder window for the hard drive, I am still seeing progress wheels next to the majority of the files (see screenshot below).

I have tried waiting, restarting and ejecting/plugging back in the hard drive. But the wheels are still there. Any thoughts on why this might be happening?

Are the files accessible on the external HD ? If so then I would ignore the anomaly.
